Aeveris show off their new members with 'The Mask', which is the first single to come from their upcoming album.

Coming onto the scene in 2021 the five-piece form Belgium make heavy music that will grab you and refuse to let go. Combining technical riffs with melodic moments Aeveris are giving listeners something that is equally catchy and heavy. Right from the get-go this high-paced single takes a hold of you and doesn't let go. From the first moment you are met with striking vocals and a strong technical riff while the drums take place thundering away in the background. The harsh verses are contrasted by the almost power metal feel of the melodic chorus. I actually could hear a lot of that more classic/power metal influence on this track yet it is still firmly rooted in a modern metalcore type sound. Aeveris even put in place a guitar solo where we would more commonly find a breakdown nowadays which was actually a really nice touch. I think they're new vocalist is a great fit for this band and as a whole Aeveris are sounding great, I personally am quite excited to see what the rest of this era will bring.
