Finnish melodic death metal band Dimman have released a new single and music video for 'Morbus'!
Finnish melodic death metal band Dimman have released their new single 'Morbus'. The song much like the upcoming album addresses humanity, more specifially the issues and grievances that we face. The debut album from Dimman 'Songs and Tales of Grievances' is set to be released on the 30th of July 2021 via Inverse Records. Dimman's modern melodeath style combines beautiful melodies, heavy compositions and technical musicality giving them a unique sound. The band also have two vocalists (Jenna Kohtala, Vatteri Halkola) which gives more depth to their songs and creates a distinctive and balanced soundscape.
"Morbus is one of the heaviest songs on the album. The song was originally composed many years ago but it gained its definitive form after some collective arrangement. The song has a catchy main verse, which carries it into multiple different territories. Overall, Morbus describes the sickness that lies within humanity and the lies that surround us everywhere." - (Mikael Haapala, Guitar)
