Post-metalcore four-piece DISTANCE DIVINE further break genre boundaries with their explosive new track 'S.I.N'

DISTANCE DIVINE have unleashed their brand new genre-bending anthem 'S.I.N' The four-piece from Lincolnshire, UK don't let genres define them and with each release they challenge metalcore boundaries. 'S.I.N' is the second release from the group since they took a three years hiatus and returned with a new vocalist. Their previous single 'Self Destruction' saw the band achieve wide radio success including gaining a spot on Alyx Holcombe's BBC Introducing Rock Show on Radio 1. Exploring the struggle of grappling with personal choices and the desire for a fresh start, 'S.I.N' is a melting pot of various sounds, pulling pieces from techno, punk and pop while still being firmly rooted within metalcore. The melodic pop like vocal melody is a perfect contrast to the low guitar riffs in the verses while the chorus is an explosion of bright melodies and electronic sounds. This track is something fresh and new but there's something about it that seems to nod to 2010's metalcore, this felt especially apparent in the little chant at about two minutes in. DISTANCE DIVINE are a band to be excited about and each of their recent releases only makes me want to hear more.
