Dragged Under - AlgoRHYTHM

Seattle hardcore group Dragged Under release their full-throttle new single 'AlgoRHYTHM'.

Dragged Under have released their full-throttle commentary on the state of current music promotion, 'AlgoRHYTHM' via Mascot Records. Having clocked an impressive number of streams Dragged Under are a band that should be on your radar. They have built a strong discography since their first single 'This Holiday' in 2020. The Seattle group have also been seen crushing festival sets at the likes of Louder Than Life, Aftershock, Slam Dunk, Download, 2000Trees, Hellfest and Full Force. The trio even joined blessthefall for their US tour celebrating 'Hollow Bodies' 10th anniversary, as well as having runs with Beartooth, Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce The Veil, The Used, 10 Years, From Ashes To New and The Word Alive. With their newest single Dragged Under appear to be returning to their roots soundwise while talking about a very modern topic.

"'AlgoRHYTHM' is a commentary on the current meta of music promotion. Scrolling endlessly on artist accounts online only to see the same uninspired dancing and lip syncing to their newest song until inevitably it hits and goes viral or they move on. It almost feels as if artists don't have to write good music, or don't challenge themselves to create something they're actually interested in, instead they're writing FOR the Algorithms, with the end goal being "success at any cost."" - (Tony Cappocchi, Dragged Under Vocalist)

'AlgoRHYTHM' is a hard rock/hardcore explosion with something to say. Feeling like a little nod to sounds from the 2000's almost coming across like a heavy Sum 41, it has me questioning why I wasn't listening to this band before? The catchy vocals will have you hooked and singing "now we all dance to the AlgoRHYTHM", while the crushing riffs deliver something that makes you want to rage and dance. This fiery track is guaranteed a place on my playlists.
