Exciting metalcore newcomer Fae Fatale's single 'Know You Best' is grabbing people's attention with it's horror twist on the girl next door.
Fae Fatale released their recent single 'Know You Best' at the end of last year, which came alongside their first ever horror themed music video. From LA, California, Fae Fatale is an independent artist who effortlessly combines their love for horror and music. Drawing inspiration from artists like Bad Omens, Deftones and Poppy their sound is a captivating blend of nu metal, industrial and metalcore. With 'Know You Best' there's a combination of haunting and twisting melodic vocals with a pulse that's created by the drums and guitars. This single literally feels like that tense moment in a horror movie where you don't know what's going to happen next. The lyric "I'd die before I'd set you free" rings throughout adding an even creepier edge. 'Know You Best' is very modern metalcore and it's story will beg you to stick around, I also found this with Fae Fatale's debut release too. This is an artist I can see becoming popular in the metalcore scene, their sound is easily comparable to Poppy, especially in the breakdown of this single, but they have their own slightly unsettling style making them more melodic and something a little different.
