FangSlinger begin their tale of three immortal outlaws, will you join them at 'The Lost Souls Saloon'?
FangSlinger are a new Western/Horror themed hard rock band and their single 'The Lost Souls Saloon' is only the beginning of their tale. Combining blues rock with country and heavy metal, FangSlinger have created their own blend of hard rock music that comes complete with a whole backstory and theatrics. The trio are telling the story of three immortal outlaws from the Old West that are on the hunt for souls, and each character has their own unique history.
In the heart of Death Valley, an ancient evil roams. FangSlinger, once a man seeking fortune during the California Gold Rush, now leads a band of outlaws terrorising the West.
Hard rock and heavy metal fueled sounds that are polished off with a Western twang, when I first heard about this band I can't tell you how I excited I was, I basically raced to hear their debut single the second it was released. 'The Lost Souls Saloon' is everything I wanted and more, it's powerful riff draws you in with it's Western edge before you're met with husky rock vocals, followed by pretty harmonies and a huge chorus. FangSlinger manage to capture that little element of danger within the track, reminding the listener that this trio are outlaws and not to be trusted, while also having a sweet element that makes you want to stick around and learn more about these unusual characters. Aside from the theatrics the song itself is a hard rock force and I can't wait to see where these guys go from here.
