Hamartia's 'Bloom' reminds listeners that sometimes it's better to be alone.

Hamartia's anti-valentine anthem 'Bloom' reminds everyone that sometimes you are just better off alone. With their heart-on-sleeve relatable, style the quartet have gained a dedicated fanbase. Their self-proclaimed 'losercore' sound sees them being completely true to themselves with the music they make. Hamartia have even been labelled as one of Noizze's Top 20 Artists Set to Conquer 2025. The bands first release for this year, 'Bloom' stays true to their deeply relatable nature.
"This song is our opportunity to lay all of our feelings bare, work through them and hopefully come out the other side with a new found appreciation for being true to ourselves, and putting ourselves first for once. You're more than your worst boyfriend." - (Sophie Smith, Vocals)
'Bloom' is in my opinion a pop song but heavily dipped into the rock genre. The guitars take on melodic moments while also occasionally bursting with something that would be appropriate on a pop-punk track. The drums and bass keep the heavier tone while the vocals deliver the melodic pop melody. This is a romantic feeling song that's more about loving yourself than someone else and it reminds me a lot of bands like Flyleaf, this single is not only unique but gorgeous. 'Bloom' is easily my favourite track to come from Hamartia and the romanticized atmosphere it creates deserves to be listened to.
