Indie rock band LOBSTERBOMB's empowering third single 'Wake Up' will make you feel like you are ready to take on the world. This track will be available from the 19th of April 2021.
New indie rock band LOBSTERBOMB are set to release their third single 'Wake Up' on the 19th of April 2021. The catchy song has quite a serious message behind it, focussing on as humans our need to change for the better of the world. 'Wake Up' also talks about the pressures of society and how that makes us all feel like we have to live in a certain way. LOBSTERBOMB were formed in 2020 in a basement in Berlin by band members Nico Rosch, Vik Chi and Crayon Jones. 'Wake Up' is the third single from the band after their debut 'Yes Yes Yeah' which was released January 2021 and then 'I Want Noise' which came out in March of 2021. Describing LOBSTERBOMB as danceable indie garage rock feels like the most fitting description. All their songs so far and especially 'Wake Up' have this catchy rhythm to them that makes it hard not to want to get up and dance along. In my opinion LOBSTERBOMB feel kind of punky and their music has this attitude of 'we aren't gonna do what you tell us'. For me 'Wake Up' reminds me of something you would hear at some bar full of delinquents. I could imagine this being a track that would be really fun to sing along with live. LOBSTERBOMB are also working on their first EP and it is expected to be released later this year.
