Lust For Lily may have reached their heaviest sound yet with new single 'In The Tall Grass'.
A song fueled with rage and unfiltered metalcore, Lust For Lily's new track 'In The Tall Grass' is possibly their heaviest yet. After the release of their debut EP 'Relinquish' at the start of 2024, Lust For Lily experienced a long period of introspection, however this eventually turned to rage which they channeled into the new single. The group from Finland formed in late 2022 and their emotionally driven sound has been gaining them fans from all over the world. 'In The Tall Grass' takes a striking turn in comparison to their previous single 'Glitter', which was more delicate and ethereal. This new single captures the heavy and raw energy of 2010's metalcore with it's opening riff, the drums seem to drive the track forward as the vocals seem to breath life into the fast and intense piece. Even though this track is fueled by rage there's also something a little fun about the riffs and melody, it's bouncy pace is really enjoyable. For me, this was a track that was over far too quickly, it just kept getting better and better, having me constantly excitedly anticipating what would come next.
