"The video for this song was a very challenging project. Musically, we wanted people to hear the evolution in our style, without being too drastic in our change. Gojira was a huge inspiration in the writing process of the music, with a rhythmic introduction and heart-pounding riffs, to melodic choruses that keep playing in your head over and over again. The main inspiration for the lyrics was the storyline of Wes Craven's 'Nightmare on Elm Street'. So visually, we wanted to recreate our own version of certain scenes in the movie and make the cinematic experience as big as possible." - (Rockin' Engine)
For horror fans and rockers upcoming EP 'Altered By Evil' is a perfect combination of spooky and heavy riffs. Containing various subtle influences any hardcore horror fan will be pleased, but the EP also makes space for anyone to delve into a world of evil spirits and monsters. 'Monsters Under the Bed' is the first installment from the new era of Rockin' Engine and their EP 'Altered By Evil' is due to be released on the 7th of July. So set your alarms and get ready to be scared.
