Pop-rock group Say It Anyway have released your new favourite heartbreak anthem 'Mascara Mess'.

If you're looking for a sing-a-long anthem to get you through your next heartbreak, look no further than Say It Anyways 'Mascara Mess'. Emerging onto the scene back in 2021 Say It Anyway are a pop-rock band from South Wales/South West UK. They have been making waves recently with their highly catchy bubbly sound. Their newest single follows on from the release of their summer success 'Vampires', which I previously named as one of my tracks of the week. Heading in more of a raw and emotive direction 'Mascara Mess' is an anthem for anyone that's had their heartbroken.

The lyrics "Told myself I wouldn't fall for you" gently welcome in the track before it builds into a vibrant piece packed with personal lyricism. While this track may have emotional tones it still has a sort of lighthearted feel to it, leaning into that catchy pop-rock sound that I have come to know Say It Anyway for. The lyric 'I'm a mascara mess on the ground" which drives the chorus is more than likely to have you singing along. There's something really fun and like-able about this band and I can completely feel that when listening to 'Mascara Mess'.
